It's one of the yarn events of the year with over 250 yarn vendors, 1,000 sheep, sheep shearing contests, sheep herding, sheep to shawl demonstrations, and numerous classes in fiber arts! Go check it out. If you're on a tight budget, you may want to leave your credit cards at home... the temptation to stock up is overwhelming. For more information, visit: http://www.sheepandwo.... There is no entry or parking fee. Lunch options are available for purchase. However, if you're a vegetarian, choices are limited so you may prefer to bring your own lunch. The fairgrounds are open to the public Saturday, May 1, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 2, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no formal meetup event scheduled. However, if you're planning to attend and interested in meeting up with other folks, RSVP with the times you'll be attending, and make a plan to meet others who will be going. Enjoy!
The exhibits were great as usual--lots of wool, accessories, and sheep, llamas ans alpacas; however, it was very hot and humid.
