Come one, come all to celebrate Caroline finishing nursing school and passing her nursing exam. She's official now! Potluck so bring something yummy to share. Plates/napkins provided. Don't forget your knitting and crocheting. We might as well add some crafting spice to the party. Happy Hooking On Monday!! Hello all, we're trying a new night and a new Location!! Easy access from 101, 87, 880, 280. But the same good time is going to be had!!! Hookers Night at the Bookstore!! Bring $2 for the Special Olympics Yarn Pass out!! Come hang and gossip and work on a fun project. We're a fun easy going group!! We accept any craft at any skill level! So come bring the project you a stuck on I'm sure there will be someone there to give you a hand!! Normally Roasted Coffee Bean Meetups will be on the 3rd Thursday of the month, but I'm out of town that week, so I'm moving it to the 4th Thursday of the month just for September. If anyone would prefer this meetup to be on the 2nd Thursday of the month, the 11th, let me know. Either week (or both!) work for me. All crocheters and knitters of all experience levels are welcome to join! We're a welcoming and very casual group, so don't be intimidated to join us We meet from 6-9 p.m. and you're welcome to come whenever you can and stay for as long as you like. Please bring the project(s) you're working on and any projects you've recently completed for show and tell. We love to ooh and aah at everyone's projects! Since Roasted Coffee Bean is nice enough to host our group, please buy a drink or a goodie to enjoy throughout the meetup. So I think it's about that time to have a night for all your Summer UFO (Un-Finished Objects/projects) Get all those unfinished Summer projects done so whoever they are for can get some wear in before the Summer is over!!! So bring those stubborn projects you can't get finished and we'll give each other help and moral support to get them done!!!

Anyone up for some outdoor crochet/knitting? I know this is last minute, but if anyone wants to join, please do! If at least 3 people RSVP "yes", this meetup will be on! Anyone who crochets and/or knits is welcome to join. We're a very fun and informal group and we always welcome new members. Bring your projects, kids, dogs, blankets, chairs and a picnic and come join the fun! There are 3 playgrounds to choose from so this is a great meetup to bring your kids to! When you enter the park, there's a pathway that goes to the back towards the bathrooms - I'll try to set up some space by the picnic tables on the grass in the back left part of the park where there's some shade. The start time, 2 p.m., is not set in stone, so if other people have a preference on the time, let me know and I can change it. There is parking on the street right on Portal, and Bright Horizons is right next door, to the right of the park where there is parking as well. The park isn't hard to find, it's on Portal off of Steven's Creek right next door to Bright Horizons. It's between Steven's Creek and Merritt. If you're coming from Steven's Creek and get to the Merritt stop sign, turn around and then it'll be on your right. It's near the roundabout stop on Portal. We finally got the location I think everyone wanted!!!! Barnes and Noble Westgate!! Plenty of parking and tons of Squishy seating!!! I hope it goes well and everyone likes the place!!!
