Who taught you to crochet?

completely self taught crocheter AND knitter (from books)

What is your favorite Yarn, hook, or Resource?

I like knitting and crochet "techie" books (how tos, different stitch patterns, techniques, etc.) I like unusual "media" such as wire and beads, etc.

What is your Favorite thing you ever made?

Ebony beaded shawl from Nov 97 Crochet Fantasy. If only I knew where it was stashed away LOL

When did you learn to crochet?

self taught from Readers Digest Complete Guide to Needlework. Learned some techniques from Southbay Crochet CGOA chapter and its "sister" bay area chapter workshops. Learned to knit "beyond" cast on and just knit in a workshop they held.

I think crocheters and knitters alike can gain a lot from meeting other knitters/crocheters, we can teach each other a lot and be better than we could be alone.
