Our group meets the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. We knit, crochet, socialize. We teach each other as we learn new patterns, techniques. The Atlanta-based MAMA Art Collective was founded in 2013 by a few crafty, community seeking women with young kids. We wanted space to create, explore DIY design and craft and kickstart creative businesses...and we wanted to do that while our young children were with us! We rent space from a church in East Atlanta.
