Sioux City's lack of a knitting/crochet/fiber arts group has come to my attention and I think it's time for one to begin. We will meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. All crafters are welcome and we shall share our projects, our frustrations, and, hopefully, a lot of laughs.

Crossroads of Iowa develops a diversity of classes and events, mostly free with donations kindly accepted...with basic themes of personal enrichment and fun! What is your suggestion, your area of expertise? Classes and programs will eventually be incorporated into a transitional housing program for women leaving the Therapeutic Community Drug Treatment Program at the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women, but ideally always including the community-at-large.
